There are reports out of Israel of a holdup in negotiations for a temporary ceasefire in Gaza.
Israel is understood to not to be sending a delegation to the talks taking place in Cairo, despite US officials saying a ceasefire deal was already on the table and that Israel had approved it.
The sticking point appears to be Hamas not supplying a list of the hostages who would be released.
Al Jazeera journalist Willem Marx spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
