Caleb Paterson, the owner of Paterson Luxury, who specialises in the sale and marketing of luxury properties, says he's seen the volume of wealthy offshore buyers interested in buying properties here has grown since National announced its housing policy.
He says he has been approached by buyers' agents in New York, London and the UAE. Mr Paterson says with the weaker New Zealand dollar, many US buyers are looking to "purchase immediately."
Paterson spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
