Police in Gisborne still need to talk to about 60 witnesses as they investigate a multiple stabbing at 21st birthday party where two people were killed and three injured.
One of the two who died was the man celebrating his birthday, 21-year-old Chrysler Stevens Mark.
The other was 30-year-old Kane Taare-Gray.
RNZ reporter Ashleigh McCaull is at the police cordon at Lytton Road.
