Protesters attempting to stop the felling of exotic trees on Ōwairaka-Mt Albert in Auckland are planning to stay away from a hui called by the Tupuna Maunga Authority.
The authority hopes to clear the air at the hui - and is inviting anyone who would like to attend to come along.
The protesters say they feel have been backed into a corner and won't be going.
Spokesperson Anna Radford speaks to Susie Ferguson.
