Officers rushing to the aid of victims of the Christchurch terror attacks have described police communications in chaos - even as they were confronted by the gruesome scenes at Al Noor mosque and Linwood Islamic Centre.
Several officers made witness statements on Tuesday to the inquest for the 51 people killed in the 2019 attack, saying they were given false information or none at all - and at times it seemed there was nobody in charge.
