Police say there will be no tolerance for the breaking of rules on Parliament grounds in Wellington today, with any protestors found trespassing or structures erected to be removed immediately.
A large anti-Government protest is planned for Parliament this morning, and Police have called in reinforcements from outside the capital in preparation.
Protesters will be allowed onto Parliament grounds, but not onto the forecourt.
The Wellington District Commander Superintendent Corrie Parnell says they've been speaking with the organisers of the protest - and counter-protests - and they expect there to be no real problems today.
