Senior Labour MP Michael Wood remains Minister for Auckland this morning, despite having to stand down from his transport portfolio.
Mr Wood was stood down after failing to properly disclose shares he owns in Auckland Airport - currently worth about $13,000.
Prime Minister Chris Hipkins says the Cabinet Office had asked Mr Wood to sort it out about six times and it's still not clear why it wasn't done.
RNZ political editor Jane Patterson spoke to Corin Dann.
