Research out this morning from the Retirement Commission has found Māori and Pacific people are managing to save significantly less in their KiwiSaver accounts than other ethnicities.
The research, using fresh data from Stats New Zealand, shines a light on ethnicity for the first time.
The commission says the data allows for a deeper look into the forces causing significant differences.
Policy lead Dr Michelle Reyers spoke to Corin Dann.
