The funder for tertiary education is willing to subsidise more trainees in scaffolding and piano tuning, but doesn't want any increase in primary teaching enrolments.
The Commission has released the list of courses where it wants to increase enrolments and those where it wants to see a drop.
It has also warned polytechnics and universities to lift their pass rates, especially for Māori and Pacific students.
