The Prime Minister says disruptive behaviour from some Kāinga Ora tenants is unfair on taxpayers, as well as those on the social housing waitlist.
The Government has instructed the state housing agency to strengthen its management of anti-social tenants or tenants with rent arrears, including the threat of eviction.
Christopher Luxon says there's currently no incentive for disruptive Kāinga Ora tenants to improve their ways.
