Labour leader Chris Hipkins says he wants to revamp the tax system, after ruling out such a move just last year.
In a state of the nation speech in South Auckland, Chris Hipkins said New Zealand has one of the least diversified tax systems in the world, which he says is particularly unfair on salary earners.

Swarbrick spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
