All governments make decisions with "imperfect information" but retiring MP and former finance minister Grant Robertson says his experience during the Covid pandemic was an "extreme sports version of that".
Robertson leaves Parliament on Wednesday after 15 years as an MP - he will deliver his valedictory speech in the House Wednesday night.
RNZ's political editor Jo Moir asked him about the criticism that as finance minister he spent too much money at a time when inflation was growing.
