The government is supporting New Zealanders who want to get out of Tel Aviv, in the wake of war breaking out between Israel and Hamas.
The government has partnered with Etihad Airways to set up a special flight for kiwis and eligible Pacific people, which will depart in the coming days, flying to Abu Dhabi.
Foreign Affairs Minister Nanaia Mahuta says New Zealanders who can get out of the region on commercial airlines should do so as there are a limited number of seats.
