An economist says the Government has its priorities wrong, as it continues to insist on tax cuts despite a worsening economic outlook.
Treasury's economic outlook is significantly worse than was predicted just three months ago, with tax revenue possibly down by almost $14 billion over a five-year period.
They also show the Government won't be able to return a surplus by 2026.
Independent economist Cameron Bagrie spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
