Petrol prices will jump up around 29 cents from tomorrow, as cuts on petrol excise duty and road user charges end.
The government's 25 cents per litre discount will be added back on and, when GST is added, will cost customers around 29 cents to the litre price.
The fuel discounts were introduced last March and continued as part of the government's cost-of-living relief.
Jimmy Ormsby, the owner of Kiwi fuel company Waitomo Group, spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
