Figures from an international e-commerce company show the cost of fruit and vegetables in New Zealand have risen by almost 16 percent since the start of the year.
It's the twelfth highest rise out of 94 countries ranked by Picodi.
Consumer New Zealand chief executive Jon Duffy says there are a number of reasons prices are soaring.
