The Labour Party is criticising the government's latest pay offer to police, and saying they need to live up to expectations they created before the election.
It was only six months ago that former Police Minister Ginny Andersen was in a similar position, copping flack for a proposed four percent pay bump.
That was ultimately rejected, as this one looks set to be.
