Former Prime Minister Helen Clark has received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Toronto.
The University said Clark is a leader known for championing equity, sustainability and health, awarding her the honorary degree for her outstanding contribution to the public good and her commitment to a just and thriving world.
Helen Clark has active leadership roles in a number of global organisations, such as the World Economic Forum, Chatham House, and the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health.
