An LPG bottle exploded at a construction site at Auckland's Wynyard Quarter on Friday, leaving five people injured.
Emergency services were called to Halsey Street Wharf just before 6.30am.
George Seaton is from the Tuck shop bakery, which is directly opposite the construction site.
He says he first noticed something was going on when he saw lots of ambulances.
