The first episode of the The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will be released at 1pm this afternoon on Amazon Prime.
With a budget of more than $1 billion, it is the most expensive TV series of all time.
The series has Tolkein fans around the world excited, but has plenty of skeptics as well.
