RNZ continues to reel from the fallout over the revelation a staffer altered Reuters copy to include pro-Russian sentiment.
Since Friday, 250 articles back to January 2022 have been audited and 16 are now known to have been altered by a digital journalist, who RNZ has now placed on leave.
Fifteen of the articles were from the Reuters wire service.
RNZ received a complaint in October last year about an article which was said to parrot the Russian government's propaganda.
The letter, signed by several Ukrainian and Russian-born New Zealanders, said the article was a disgrace.
Michael Lidski, who wrote and signed the letter complaining about RNZ's article last year spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
