The Prime Minister, Chris Hipkins, says Michael Wood's shareholding in Chorus, Spark, and the National Australia Bank, does raises questions about conflict of interest.
Mr Wood was involved in Cabinet decision making directly relating to companies he had a shareholding in, before he made the Prime Minister aware of those shares. Mr Wood didn't respond to requests for an interview, and Prime Minister Chris Hipkins declined an interview with Morning Report. Electoral law expert Graeme Edgeler says there is a clear conflict of interest in Michael Wood's actions. Graeme Edgeler spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
