Strongmen from across the world were in West Auckland on Saturday for the Iron Hand - New Zealand Open arm wrestling tournament.
Teams from Uzbekistan and Australia competed against New Zealand's best for a first prize of $5,000 in the right arm open category.
In the end, Australia's Lachlan "Anvil" Adair took the title of Iron Hand. His arch-rival and New Zealand number one, Maateiwarangi "The Beast" Heta-Morris, spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
