A former Armed Offenders Squad member says he feared for his safety when he was told he could be the victim of an "accident" during a firearms training exercise he was leading. John Woodward worked as a police constable for more than a decade, most of which was on the West Coast as a sole charge officer in Ross. He says he suffered from sustained bullying from colleagues on the West Coast, who called him a nark because he complained about their behaviour. Eventually he was forced into leaving the region.
