Insiders, journalists, and former staffers have written numerous books dishing dirt about the most controversial American president in living memory. But Mary Trump’s book is unique in that it tells the story of the President from the perspective of a family member who had an inside view into his psyche. And, Ms. Trump has a Ph.D in clinical psychology.

Katha Pollitt, essayist and author, long-time contributor to The Nation. She has written numerous books including Pro: Reclaiming Abortion Rights, The Mind-Body Problem and more. She is also an award-winning poet and has taught poetry at Princeton and Barnard and women’s studies at the New School University.
