Solkist, a world traveling electronic ace, guarantees an energetic dance party. Considered to be a “music mixologist,” she has sounds for everyone to jam out to. With her sneaky ninja-beats, bass’d up remixes, and funky jams, Solkist weaves wildly flavorful ear candy. This female DJ has a huge stage presence and even bigger anthems that crowds and clubs get electrified by. You’re sure to enjoy the bouncing jams that Solkist delivers.
She first fell in love with electronic music in 1995 and began her international house and trance collection. Traveling across the globe to pick up the latest and greatest live sets, Solkist soon had an incredible library of rare and treasured tunes. In 2001 she played her first vinyl set, and by 2010 she had her first CDJs.
Her djing career took off from there playing at local Santa Cruz clubs, Monarch SF, Burning Man, Festivals across California, and clubs in Mexico. She’s played with many sound camps on the On/Off the playa including Camp Questionmark and Airpusher, Duck Pond, and Ali Bar Bar. Solkist has opened for Dirtybird Resident J.Phlip, Fort Knox Five, and Tronik Youth, amongst other heavy hitters. She has written and produced deep house songs as well. Solkist’s unique flavor bridges the delicious sounds of bass imulsified melodic house, with a kickin’ 4-on-the-floor beat, and instrumental audio for an explosive full-spectral experience!
