"This mix is a midtempo/funky house journey through some of my favorite genres- soul, hip-hop, gospel, bluegrass, Dolly (yeah, Dolly probably counts as her own genre). It makes me and mine move our happy asses and I hope it does the same for you and yours. Shout out to my crews Brass Tax and Angels of bAss- proud to still be going strong after all these years with y'all. And to HazMatt and my little man QDubs- my biggest cheerleaders and harshest critics who egg me on with DJ treats (french fries and booty shakes) but also never hesitate to tell me when something sounds "yucky." Thanks to the Space Cowboys for the invitation and to everyone who still follows me and remembers my name, even after I've stepped away from the scene for a minute or two.
