In what was supposed to be a homecoming for, WBA, IBF, and IBO Junior Middleweight Champion, Jarrett Hurd ended turning out to be anything but that as huge underdog Julian Williams scored a massive upset last night in Hurd’s backyard in Fairfax, Virginia. Williams wasn’t given much of a chance going in as many looked back to his onesided knockout loss in his first title shot challenge to current WBC Junior Middleweight Champion Jermell Charlo back in 2016. But the six and half to one underdog Williams proved all of the skeptics wrong and ended up outskilling and outwilling the seemingly bigger, stronger Hurd.
