Oleksandr Gvozdyk made his first defense of his WBC title, that he won from Adonis Stevenson, against Doudou Ngumbu this past Saturday night. Gvozdyk seemed to do just enough to nick rounds against the wild swinging Ngumbu. Then all of a sudden in the fifth round Ngumbu started limping and complained of an injury to his right calf and could not continue. Gvozdyk was declared the winner by fifth round TKO in what appeared to be a very uneventful fight. Eric, Beeb, and Ringside Robert recap this fight as well as the rest of the past week's boxing action.
