How could a "son of the kingdom" be denied entrance into the Kingdom? Jesus said it will happen! I think I was a very young boy when I first heard, "God has no grandchildren," meaning: the faith and holiness of your parents isn't transferred to you; you have to come into your own relationship with Him. Well, this may not have been so clear to the descendants of Abraham seated on the grass, hearing the Sermon on the Mount live and in person. If "the Kingdom" is not the Kingdom of Israel, then what is it? Pastor Jim continues his thoughts from yesterday in Part 2 of Thy Kingdom Come.
