Pictures Of The Apostate - Part 1 of 2

Jude wants to outfit us with spiritual sonar. Even in the church, where we feel we have a safe harbor, there may be dangers below the surface. In his letter Jude calls them "hidden reefs." They're people who may smile and talk like Christians, but who have their own agenda underneath. If we don't steer clear, these reefs will split the ship of Fellowship apart. Jude has some other metaphors for them, as well - or, as Jim calls them, Pictures of the Apostate. He opens the lesson with prayer.
