When we look at the occupations of Bible heroes, we find more paper-pushers than priests! We have several shepherds represented - Abraham, Moses, David - but even some of them became bureaucrats. Where did we get this idea that if you're not a "member of the clergy," you're really a second-class kind of Christian? Well, Pastor Jim will take issue with that idea today.
