What is the church? Why does it exist? What is its main mission? I'm not going to answer those questions; Jim is - or rather, the Apostle Paul is. We've closed the book of Daniel, and today and Monday we'll be reading from the New Testament letter of 1 Timothy. In our day when the Adversary has blown so much smoke around the core issues of Christianity, it's comforting to know that these are not new challenges, and they do have answers.
