Born in NY but moved to Los Angeles at 7-years old and his 2 uncles were die-hard NY Mets fans
Baseball was his first love but played more football
Loved sports as a kid because it was entertainment with unscripted drama
Eventually gave up playing sports in high school to focus on being a DJ for various parties and functions
Loved listening to Chick Hearns call Los Angeles Lakers games
Eventually started writing for HoopsWorld.com which was fansite internet blog and then Swish Magazine
Found his niche with how teams are built based on salary cap and collective bargaining deals and didn’t gravitate towards breaking news
Enjoys being able to explain why trades happen
Getting more comfortable in front of the camera with NBA TV and Kenny Smith has helped him be more confident
First true player interview was with Chris Kaman of the Los Angeles Clippers
Honored to be involved in Kobe Bryant’s movie Muse
Words of Wisdom from Eric Pincus: “If you’re going to do something, do it well and don’t get into it if you’re not interested in doing it right.”
