Remember the cartoons you loved as a kid? Do you, like us, remember mid-2000s Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network with a mix of fondness and terror – or, if you don’t, do you want to know what the fuss was about?

Join Mary, David, and Ben as we revisit the cartoons that shaped us in an episode-by-episode deep dive, as well as the Internet fan culture as it was then and is now. How do these nostalgic shows hold up? What do we think of them now, as not kids but sad adults? How has the zeitgeist and Internet following evolved along with us? We set out to answer these questions and also to be incredibly hilarious and physically attractive.

We started in 2017 with Return to the Past: A Code Lyoko Retrospective, which ran from 2017-2019 and makes up the first part of this feed. Second was The Ultimate Reprise, which ran from 2019-2020 and covers Oban: Star Racers. Now we’re on The Avatar Recycle, hot on the heels of Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Netflix debut!

Join us wheresoever you like. Watching along is not necessary - but highly encouraged – and we try to keep spoiler free up to the current episode! Follow us on Twitter at @super_nuclear, or send us your feedback at [email protected]!

TT #8 - Trident - Submissive No, Breedable Yes (Deep Six)

February 23, 2024 17:51 - 58 minutes - 39.2 MB

Apologies for the impromptu break, everyone – we’re back and we’re ready to party! Or, uh, in this case, cringe, because despite being written by the original author of The New Teen Titans comics, this episode… isn’t all that great. Of Teen Titans, I mean. WE, your humble podcasters, are in top form. And together we look on in horror as the Titans make one idiotic decision after another. Beast Boy develops an inferiority complex that actively hinders the mission, Starfire and Raven fawn ov...

TT #7 - Got My Body Switched at Claire's (Switched)

December 18, 2023 02:47 - 1 hour - 44.1 MB

Alright, time to dive headfirst into that tried and true staple of western animation, the body swap episode!  None of us had remembered this one very fondly, and it turns out Mary had never seen at all. But it turns out it rules - especially because it's an EXCELLENT character study. Behold as Starfire-as-Raven destroys everything in her path, Raven-as-Starfire struggles to even feel a single emotion on purpose, and the boys... well, they're pretty wooden in this episode. Ba dum pish! Th...

TT #6 - I Hate You, Brain Dad (Nevermore)

November 26, 2023 04:08 - 1 hour - 50.4 MB

In everyone's favorite Season 1 episode, Raven is subjected to too many puns and goes grimdark, prompting Beast Boy and Cyborg to venture into the Hot Topic dimension to save her. While there, they encounter not one Raven, but several! Including Finger Guns Raven, a staple of forum avatars in the mid-noughties, but not including Lust Raven, who DOES exist - they saved her for the tie-in comics. Cyborg and Beast Boy help her fight her dad, who may or may not qualify as an orc (Ben has opini...

TT #5 - Mumbo? Perhaps. Jumbo? Perhaps Not! (The Sum of His Parts)

November 04, 2023 02:52 - 55 minutes - 38.9 MB

Today, Titan Talk goes out and touches grass! Come join us for a brief interlude at the park, followed by a much longer interlude in a hole at the dump. Points of curiosity: fine dijon mustard, five and a half pounds of baby back ribs, a nostalgic look back at Obama "scandals," and Tom Kenny in a dual role as a magical blue guy and another, less magical blue guy. And yes, we are sure it's actually him this time. Apologies for all the coughing, by the way - David and Mary were both sick w...

TT #4 - The Local Orb (Forces of Nature)

October 14, 2023 18:48 - 1 hour - 49.8 MB

We had a bit of confusion about what this episode was called, all the way up until nearly the end of the recording. Mary and Ben could have sworn it was called Thunder and Lightning. David has the clearest head of all of us and knew from day 1 that it was Forces of Nature, and so we stand corrected. But Thunder and Lightning themselves weren't always forces of nature! Here we learn for the first time about just how different these two knuckleheads are from their comic counterparts, AND get...

TT #3 - Stuck in His Goo (Divide and Conquer)

September 23, 2023 19:15 - 51 minutes - 33.5 MB

Here we are at the actual Teen Titans pilot episode - one that makes it readily apparent why they decided to air Final Exam first. Between underdeveloped characters, an inorganic conflict and a weak resolution, it definitely isn't the series putting its best foot forward. Which is funny because foot-related mishaps are what drive the plot. Also, we get to witness what could have been - Slade with a butler! Poor Wintergreen, this version of Slade was just too brooding and antisocial for you...

TT #2 - Smoking on that Sh*t That Made Star Fire (Sisters)

September 12, 2023 02:42 - 1 hour - 49.2 MB

Uh oh, watch out everyone! Starfire's cool older sister is in town and she's here to tempt our heroes into the depths of depravity. Lock the spice cabinet because she WILL empty your oregano  into a baggie and sell it back to you. We do talk about drugs a lot in this one, as a heads up. But anyway! Not only is Sisters a fun episode, it's one of our first character study episodes in a show full of great ones. Not to mention a couple study, since this has the show's first big Robin and Sta...

TT #1 - Let's Try This Again (Final Exam)

September 05, 2023 03:33 - 1 hour - 59.5 MB

After two long years and five even longer months, the dream lives again. Like three cockroaches crawling out of an irradiated crater, the Super Nuclear Group returns to deliver sweet, marketable cartoon nostalgia to your ear holes. This time, we're bidding a temporary adieu to Avatar and starting fresh with a show all three of us remember with misty-eyed longing - just in time for its 20th anniversary. That's right, it's Teen Titans time!  We're covering the episodes in release order, no...

TAR #30 - He Died As He Lived: Like a Nerd (feat. Jess!)

April 03, 2021 23:00 - 1 hour - 67.8 MB

We've reached the midpoint of season two, and with that, the midpoint of the whole show! This is a good time for us to take a little break from internet radio silliness (more on that in the episode), but first, here's Mary, David, and Jess talking owls and Kongsonas (also in the episode, obviously).   ===   As mentioned above, Super Nuclear Group will be going on hiatus for some time. We will let you know when we return, and in the meantime we will remain active on Twitter and in the ...

TAR #29 - I Was A Twelve Year Old Cop (Bitter Work feat. Quinn and Jess!)

April 03, 2021 00:20 - 1 hour - 58.8 MB

I'm super sorry for the lateness of putting this on the main feed - I hadn't realized I hadn't scheduled it while I was waiting for the summary to come in. Thank you for your patience and look forward to The Library soon!   ===   Welcome to Bitter Work (fun fact: that's what "kung fu" actually means!), an episode that's mostly about Sokka being stuck in a hole and talking to a Digimon, and also some other stuff happens, we guess. With Ben and David both out of commission, Jess and ...

TAR #28 - Toph Demands to See the Manager (The Chase feat. Bfahome!)

March 19, 2021 21:00 - 1 hour - 71.5 MB

Ah, the chase: a cartoon tradition. Tom chases Jerry, Sylvester chases Tweety, and in tonight's presentation, the Gaang is chased by a bunch of girls. Which I guess makes this more like the Avatar version of A Hard Day's Night (ask your grandma, zoomer).   Our friend Gabe is here to bring the funny while Ben is away. Join us as we discuss such questions as: do sky bison reproduce by budding? If you poop in the spirit world, do you also poop in real life? And how fast does Iroh need to be...

TAR #27 - Ostrich-Horse With No Name (Zuko Alone feat. Quinn!)

March 13, 2021 22:00 - 1 hour - 86.5 MB

Time for Zuko Alone, Avatar's cowboy episode! In lieu of Ben, we're joined once again by Quinn! (And no, we didn't eat Ben when we were all stranded on that raft in the middle of the ocean, no matter what the federales say.) Prepare for advanced Jaden Smith discussion, stinky piles o' poo, and the startling revelation that in the Avatar universe, bacon and eggs come from the same animal.   This episode of The Avatar Recycle contains a content warning for discussion of slavery in video ga...

TAR #26 - TAR #26 - It's Not Just The Rock, It's The Boulder! (The Blind Bandit ft. Dianna!)

February 19, 2021 20:30 - 2 hours - 92.5 MB

It's finally time for the episode everyone and their dog wanted to be on. Wait a minute... is CatDog an Avatar animal? Holy shit, I just thought of that literally right now. Nickelodeon Cinematic Universe confirmed! Anyway, Toph is in this one.   Our friend (and very first fan!) Dianna joins us to talk about Toph and why she's an excellent example of positive representation of a blind person. Wrasslin', masculinity, parenting and James Randi are also discussed. Not necessarily in that or...

TAR #25 - That Dank Ass Avatar Weed (feat. Jess once more!)

February 12, 2021 21:30 - 2 hours - 82.9 MB

Hey... u up, winky face emoji? It's the horniest-ever episode of The Avatar Recycle, featuring Avatar Kyoshi and her enormous feet! The fandom has long called Avatar Day one of the worst episodes of the show, second only to The Great Divide. But is it really as bad as all that?   Join the usual gang of idiots (plus Jess!) as we investigate! Enjoy such discoveries as the Sensitive Ruffian, elephant shrews, and well-oiled men with torches.   There is a small period of spoilers from 1:02...

TAR #24 - Memory, All Alone in the Swamp Gas (feat. Jess!)

February 04, 2021 22:30 - 1 hour - 69.2 MB

Welcome back to The Avatar Recycle! Jess joins us yet again as we venture into fantasy Florida to meet some more smelly hippies and Toph, who is presumably also smelly.   Topics include cholera, a five-pound bag of Swedish Fish, man's ever-evolving quest to communicate with spinach, and the time Jess's dad found a dead body and poked it with a stick. That last part isn't true. The part about the stick, we mean.   ===   Check out Jess's work at http://beachghost.carrd.co !   Clic...

TAR #23 - The Fire Nation Has Taken Twintuddlyington-upon-Newbury-upon-Twyne-upon-Kent (Return to Omashu)

January 27, 2021 21:00 - 1 hour - 55.3 MB

In this episode, the still-incomplete Gaang literally rolls around in raw sewage. (You can do that figuratively by listening to our podcast.) And on that note, who's ready for a lot of jokes about plagues and contagion? Like, jeez, read the room, 2006. Am I right? This episode also introduces us to Mai and Ty Lee, and just the many many ways Azula manipulates them horribly. Also - Mary is finally board-certified, David laughs about poop (yet again) and Ben reveals his tragic backstory. It ...

TAR #22 - I Think That Kid Might Be The Avatar (Redux) (The Cave of Two Lovers - Feat. Sigma!)

January 20, 2021 23:00 - 1 hour - 63.3 MB

In this episode, we have two special treats for you: a new guest (welcome, Sigma!) and a link to a cool picture of a dragon we found on DeviantArt. Also? A SPECTACULAR episode. Let's call that treat number three. So many things that give us joy are here. Unwashed hippies. Unsupervised uncles. Unrestrained summer (spring) fun. Unwieldy teenage kissing. It's a regular U-fest up ins. === Click here for, indeed, a cool dragon we found on DeviantArt! https://www.deviantart.com/bayardwu/art/D...

TAR #21 - Large Boulders The Size of Small Boulders (The Avatar State)

January 14, 2021 03:31 - 1 hour - 61.1 MB

It's another episode of The Avatar Recycle! Our hosts have managed to tear themselves away from the ongoing collapse of civilization to babble about magic cartoon teenagers for another couple of hours. This time, it's The Avatar State! Where is it, and why doesn't it have representation in Congress?   We're introduced to Azula, who is still an incredible villain - despite the fact that, to our aging hosts, she now looks babey. We are also left to linger on the concept of feet. Earthbend...

Secret Tunnel #2 - Hooked on the Ceiling (feat. Jess!)

December 24, 2020 22:00 - 1 hour - 59.1 MB

It's the first season break, and you know what that means: statistics (oh boy)! Join us as we once again consider the SNA, read some Avatar comics, and talk about Shrek. Jess is here, so you know this one's a keeper.   ===   Click here to see the pacu, the herbivorous piranha! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacu   Click here for Avatar The Last Airbender: The Lost Adventures and Team Avatar Tales, Library Edition: https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/667330/avatar-the-last-ai...

TAR #20 - Zhao Does Some Bull Shit (Siege of the North, Part 2)

December 17, 2020 22:00 - 1 hour - 60.8 MB

It's the season one finale, and Avatar has officially come into its own, like a caterpillar tadpole coming out of its cocoon as a beautiful butterfrog. That's good news, provided that you like hearing three ostensible adults freak out about cartoons.   We cover all the bases: Zuko's gradual de-villainization, Ben realizing that the Undertale meme skeletons are fonts, Spirit World shenanigans, Diddy's Kong Quest, when exactly a dying Jedi becomes intangible, Azula, cats, Handsome Squidwa...

TAR #19 - This Might be a Silly Episode of Super Nuclear (Siege of the North, Part 1)

December 10, 2020 22:00 - 1 hour - 53.3 MB

Good news, everyone! We heard your complaint about there not being enough year-end holidays and have magnanimously decided that December 8th is Super Nuclear Day. You may curry favor with our traditional mascots, the Super Alpaca and Gnuclear Gnome, by supporting us on Patreon. Good fortune is sure to follow. In this episode, Katara does some badass stuff, Zhao does some bad stuff (and is an ass), and we talk about a horrible nightmare we all had were M. Night Shyamalan made a terrible m...

TAR #18 - The Butthole of Time (The Waterbending Master)

December 02, 2020 22:00 - 1 hour - 64.9 MB

Apologies for the wait, everyone! Moving and life got in the way but we are BACK! Welcome back to The Avatar Recycle, the show where we talk about our cats and then, if we have time, Avatar. In this episode, Mary moves down the street, Ben moves across the country, and David stays right the fuck where he is, because in an ever-changing world, it's nice to have a little stability. You're welcome. It's the first part of the two-part season finale, wherein our merry gang of goofuses trave...

TAR #17 - The Mysterious Skywalkers (The Northern Air Temple)

November 14, 2020 23:48 - 1 hour - 75.5 MB

Donald Trump slowly shrinks and transforms into a corn cob. Ben's mother humiliates him in front of the host of Nickelodeon's Slime Time Live. David crushes his own mother's dreams of being a showbiz mom. Mary roasts her dad's exceptionally dadly qualities. And on Avatar, some kid has to cope with the fact that his dad is in bed with the fantasy reich. That's right, it's an episode all about the trials and tribulations of family relationships. (And moreover, Donald Trump losing.)   === ...

TAR #16 - High on That Dank Jeong Jeong (The Deserter feat. Jess!)

October 28, 2020 22:00 - 1 hour - 75.2 MB

This time it is David who will not be with us for this one, and Jess who will rise to the occasion and take his place as we take on a SURPRISINGLY intense ATLA episode! All the more so for Mary, because she never saw it the first time round. What does that mean for you all? A whole lot of well deserved slamming on Heart of Darkness, the secrets of Ben's clown heritage, Aang's best Cornholio impression, and so, so many stories about cats. Content warnings for discussions of racism and ...

TAR #15 - The Only Way Out Is Through The Perfume Department (Bato of the Water Tribe)

October 23, 2020 21:00 - 1 hour - 61.7 MB

This episode is all about trust, in the sense that it betrayed ours by being kinda crappy and on-the-nose, as well as having uncomfortable sexual undertones. And speaking of that, watch us revive old Homestuck memes you hoped to never see again! (At least Sokka gets to be smart in this one.) The Super Nuclear Group would also like to remind our fellow dirty, smelly Yanks to vote, vote, vote! For Joe Biden if at all possible, or failing that, for the D next to his name. We love Joe Biden's ...

TAR #14 - Girls? I Heard Of Em (The Fortuneteller feat. Jess!)

October 14, 2020 22:00 - 2 hours - 75.5 MB

This is one of those cartoon episodes that tries to be about faith vs. empiricism, but in a way that doesn't piss off any homeschool moms and/or the ACLU. Surprisingly, it doesn't suck, and in fact taught us a very valuable lesson. It taught us what platypuses eat. (It's pebbles and small mollusks, apparently.)   Join us as we discuss our favorite flowers, poke some well-deserved fun at the British, an exhibit an appreciation for Aunt Wu that, at times, pokes a toe over the line into lo...

TAR #13 - Cough Drop Box Beard (The Blue Spirit feat. Jess!)

October 01, 2020 00:00 - 1 hour - 65.1 MB

In this episode, the role of Ben is played by our good friend Jess, but don't worry, we're definitely not classing up the joint! Much merriment is had discussing the rare and elusive Sugondese frogs. (Would you suck on them? Tell us in the comments!) We also discover that the crazy old people of the Avatar universe are a lot less racist than ours. === Click here for the best cow joke of 1891: https://64.media.tumblr.com/a83caaae40468835a075aa6a8801c98c/e7768bd5fb5c9855-1f/s500x750/e8ab...

TAR #12 - Twice The Duck For Your Buck (The Storm)

September 30, 2020 05:02 - 2 hours - 109 MB

This episode involves Aang and Iroh telling heartbreaking stories of past trauma whilst they and their friends huddle around a campfire. Celebrate the occasion by listening to three nerds talk about My Big Fat Greek Wedding whilst hunched over their computers. Be warned: this episode contains more vagina references and discussion than the average Super Nuclear production. (We feel that we really outdid ourselves this time). Note: We ended up recording this over the course of two days bec...

TAR #11 - Both Sides: The Episode (The Great Divide)

September 18, 2020 01:01 - 1 hour - 64.3 MB

Ah yes, here we are. One of the Famously Bad episodes of Avatar, which means it would be a low average in any other show. Even as we try not to judge it by its reputation and/or memes, we still find it... condescending? A bit tone deaf? Paints centrists as the real victims? We're not quite sure what they're actually trying to say here.  But it's okay that this one's a bit of a stinker, because on our end, MARY GOT A CAT! Say hello to Ness, of whom pictures can absolutely be found on our ...

TAR - Secret Tunnel #1 - Spotted Bat Appreciation Zone

September 14, 2020 23:10 - 1 hour - 43.5 MB

First and foremost I have to deeply DEEPLY apologize for the lateness of this episode, I had it and it was up on Patreon and I just straight up forgot to put it on the main feed. ._. Thank you all for your patience! === Welcome to the Secret Tunnel, the Rec Room-alike where we take a break from painstakingly recapping a show in order to talk about side material, fan ephemera, and really just whatever the heck we want. This time, we're diving deep into the world of New Avatar Memes, which ...

TAR #10 - Wow Cool Hook Swords!! (Jet)

September 03, 2020 02:12 - 2 hours - 83.3 MB

Listeners, hide your bananas, cause we're about to meet some guerillas. This episode is all about Jet, the freedom fighter dude who is definitely NOT literally just Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop, and Jess is here to discuss how cool his hook swords are and whether or not he would vape in real life (he would). Also, in light of all the strongly-worded emails we've recently received, we've decided to bring back Vriskourse. Lucky you! A couple of notes: - There are minor ATLA spoilers...

TAR #9 - Surrender Your Booty (The Waterbending Scroll)

August 20, 2020 02:17 - 1 hour - 50.6 MB

Join your Super Nuclear pals for a lively discussion on whether bare man ass is allowed on Nickelodeon. That's right: it's an episode all about pirate booty! Arrgh! And when you're done listening send us an email! Would YOU eat cabbage that the cabbage merchant had lovingly rubbed on his unshaven face? Would YOU buy a box from a horse-faced man with lipstick that may or may not contain a corpse (the box, not the man)? We're dying to know!   ===   Here are some of the best resources at...

TAR #8 - Aang Arrives 112 Years Late With Starbucks (The Winter Solstice, Part 2)

August 13, 2020 03:37 - 1 hour - 51.3 MB

Happy belated vore day, everyone! And speaking of vore day, Aang's quest to stop the Fire Lord is a little bit like googling that: he's not gonna like what he sees, but may learn something about himself and walk away profoundly changed. In particular, he's going to learn that he has exactly nine months to learn three lifetimes' worth of bending. This episode also gives us the birth of Inventor Sokka, an important facet of his character that'll help us later! Also, Ben's cat gets cancelle...

TAR #7 - Places Where The Veil is Thin (Winter Solstice, Part 1: The Spirit World)

July 30, 2020 02:25 - 2 hours - 95.4 MB

In this episode, the former half of our very first two-parter, Iroh gets naked, Aang wrestles a bear, and the Super Nuclear Group waxes poetic about America's two favorite underdogs: Jeb Bush and Scrappy Doo! Think we can't prattle about this for three straight hours? Click and be amazed! === This episode of The Avatar Recycle carries a content warning for discussion of a racist meme at 1:37:00 and discussion of homophobia at 2:14:00. Click here for a body that is about to be discove...

TAR #6 - A Powerful Nut (Imprisoned)

July 23, 2020 13:06 - 1 hour - 59.8 MB

Hey, remember that one funny meme where Live-Action Aang reminds a group of earthbenders that they are earthbenders? And then they do a choreographed dance routine that results in a single baseball-sized rock to float slowly across the screen? This is the episode that scene was based on. Surprise! It's much better with funny cartoon people. Another thing the live-action movie didn't have: George Takei! Here, he features as a prison warden who sounds exactly like Vincent Price. Or maybe G...

Patreon Bonus! Remember the Titan #1 - Gend It Like Beckham (Escape to Sherman High)

July 16, 2020 01:49 - 1 hour - 62.2 MB

Hello, everyone! This is the first episode of what will from here on be a Patreon-exclusive podcast for donors at the $5 and up level! We hope you enjoy this trip into the glory that is SBT! === Long ago, in 2010, Cartoon Network gave us something very special: a new Genndy Tartakovsky show, in their classic house style of the mid to late nineties. It may have been overshadowed by the shows with the stretchy dog and the hipster bluebird, but Sym-Bionic Titan was something special. And th...

TAR #5 - DON'T SAY HIS NAME (The King of Omashu)

July 09, 2020 02:37 - 1 hour - 61.5 MB

This episode is all about King [NAME REDACTED]. But we're not supposed to say his name. We say it dozens of times anyway. And no, for once, it's not K*maeda. But we don't just laugh at our own incompetence. We also laugh at silly internet videos, pausing only to groan at some puns. And somewhere in there, there's some Avatar discussion too. === Click here for a kimchi slap: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pZ7Kj00wJ4 Click here for crab, crab, and crab: https://stereofeathers.tum...

TAR #4 - Prince Zuko Autonomous Zone, or PZAZ, ft. Jess! (The Warriors of Kyoshi)

July 02, 2020 23:47 - 2 hours - 104 MB

This episode takes the Gaang to Kyoshi Island, where Sokka learns respect-women-bending from cool new character Suki. Longtime friend of the show Jess joins us yet again to discuss this and other topics tangentially related to grrrl powah, including: skipping your school's water park trip to watch Avatar, air nomad tourists with fanny packs and floral print robes, Swears for the Classy Gent, and the saga of Dave, the lazy painter of Kyoshi Island. === This episode carries a content warni...

TAR #3 - Everyone's Bald, If You Don't Count Their Hair (The Southern Air Temple)

June 25, 2020 23:59 - 2 hours - 86.5 MB

Aang, Katara, and Sokka visit the Southern Air Temple and see a bunch of dead bodies. Meanwhile, Mary, David, and Ben revisit a bunch of old jokes that aren't dead but should be. Ben and David make killer observations, Mary sings about cereal, and the trio debates the ethics of pee-bending. Plus, we learn a shocking fact  that almost, but not quite, redeems M. Night Shyamalan. Join us for a rip-roaring good time in the usual style. Click here for a real life sloth lemur! https://en.wikip...

The Avatar Recycle #1 - Misogyny Saves The World (The Boy in the Iceberg)

June 11, 2020 02:32 - 1 hour - 76.3 MB

An important note: we had recorded this episode in late May, simply because we were very excited to do so, before the death of George Floyd and the start of the nationwide protests. We will be making a full statement in The Avatar Recycle #2, but the most important thing I can ask of you is to get educated, donate (or make use of resources that allow you to generate ad revenue for free), and activate yourself as a resource in any way you can for Black lives and Black safety. Here is just one...

TUR Post-Mortem: Up Ahead - Here We Go Again

June 10, 2020 03:24 - 1 hour - 64 MB

This episode was originally published on April 15th, 2020. === Thanks for joining us on this wild n' crazy journey. In this, the final episode of The Ultimate Reprise, we analyze the SNA, share more juicy tidbits about the sequel series, and somehow end up arguing about Homestuck again. We hope you had as much fun listening as we had putting this thing together! === Click here for some COOL CONCEPT ART: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/615020200374435862/697567626028646440/tumb...

TUR #26 - I Think That Kid Might Be The Avatar

June 10, 2020 03:23 - 1 hour - 65.2 MB

This episode was originally published on April 8th, 2020. === It's time to unban Ben from the spoiler corner of the Discord, because the grand finale is finally here. And what a finale it is! The big twist is so momentous, we decided to discuss it first, so if for some insane reason you've been watching the episodes and listening to the podcast at the same time, the best time to stop that was in episode one, you weirdo. The second best time is now. Who will take home the big prize? Wil...

TUR #25 - The Final Ship Hole

June 10, 2020 03:16 - 1 hour - 74.9 MB

This episode was originally published on April 1st, 2020. === There's a hell of a lot happening in this the penultimate episode of Oban. Oban itself is dead, for one thing. Just sand, sand, and sand. Anakin Skywalker is weeping and does not know why. But that's okay, because our intrepid heroes are off to stop the sand and also become God or something. Also, O turns into a giant white mothman with sharks for arms, which is an image so cool it'll make you forget this show is half French. ...

TUR #24 - Canaletto's Vibes Are Rancid

June 05, 2020 23:36 - 1 hour - 72.4 MB

This episode was originally published on March 25th, 2020. === Hey, isn't it funny that it's going to be Homestuck's anniversary soon and we're all literally stuck at home? No? That's not funny at all? Everyone's either sick and dying or losing their minds in self-imposed quarantine because our leaders are a gaggle of know-nothing fascist sh*theads? Huh, you do have a point there, old buddy old pal. At least there's this episode of your favorite podcast to cheer you up. We know what yo...

Inevitably, the conversation turns to whether or not Don Wei is a daddy. But if this isn't what you come here for, you would've dropped...

June 03, 2020 03:40 - 1 hour - 74.2 MB

This episode was originally published on March 4th, 2020. === This episode is full of feet. We're just gonna put our cards on the table where we can all see them. But if you power through, you'll find that we also discuss ferrets, and also David kills Ben repeatedly. So it's not all bad. Get ready to feel some feels, too, because this is the episode w...
