After weeks of financial market #turmoil, British Prime Minister Liz #Truss fired her Treasury chief and reversed tax cuts Friday to save her job.  Truss said she was keeping a corporation tax increase she previously said she would cut to "reassure the markets of our fiscal discipline" at a hastily arranged news conference. Truss replaced Treasury chief #KwasiKwarteng with ex-Cabinet minister Jeremy Hunt.
