GOP Political Shenanigans: Bill to abolish IRS & Audit the Fed | TPTS

Late on Monday, the 118th Congress's House of Representatives voted to roll back over $70 billion in #IRSfunding. A bill to do away with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), do away with the federal income tax, and replace it with a national consumption tax will also be put to a vote. All of these bills have zero chance of passing, but the #GOP is deliberately stoking tensions to derail the leftist agenda in the hopes of postponing decisive action until the 2024 #presidentialelection.
