A U.S. official said Thursday that the military has launched large-scale retaliatory strikes against multiple Houthi targets in Yemen after months of Iranian-backed militant attacks on Red Sea commercial shipping. LSEG data shows that U.S.-listed bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) traded $4.6 billion in shares as of Thursday afternoon, as investors jumped into the landmark products approved by the U.S. securities regulator on Wednesday.
