Growing up my dad used to take me to school, pick me up, do the cleaning and make the dinners while my mum was working full time as a teacher. It never dawned on me that this was not the norm but what also never dawned on me because like many males I had my eyes and ears closed was the discrimination that women back then and even now still receive.
International women’s day is a fantastic day to hear the unbalance between genders that still exists today. In this episode I touch on why my mum was such a strong figure in helping me see women should be on the same playing field.
