#61 - I learned a long time ago that you have a “System” if you can leave your restaurant for a week, a month or a year or more and its just as successful if not better than before you left.

How can you get such a powerful formula for your operation? Well, its all about working “ON” your restaurant Now, so you decide how or even if you work “IN” your restaurant tomorrow.

I get that this business can be all-consuming, but if you don’t put systems in place now, you’ll be spinning your wheels forever. This business is hard enough so you might as well be creating
an “Exit Strategy” for the future. This way you get options. Maybe you want to sell your restaurant(s) in the future like I did and these vital systems create value to increase your sales price and make it more appealing to a buyer. Maybe you want to franchise your concept or expand with other restaurant concepts. Or even better, you just want more free time to spend with your family, while you manage the big picture whatever that is and your staff has your back.

I’ve done all of these things and the systems I created for my restaurants allowed me the freedom to Exit my operation and pivot to creating value to my audience at Restaurant Rock Stars.
