Every now and again, I meet wonderful people filled with passion and zest for life. Often, this translates into doing good for others and being fulfilled. Combined, these traits have become a business sharing the products of a romantic country, struggling to emerge from economic adversity.

In this episode of the Restaurant Rockstars Podcast, I speak with Rafael Martinez De Sanzo, better known to his friends as “Rafa”, a born and raised native Argentinian. Joining us is Ms. Jillian Butta, formerly Rafa’s student and now C.O.O of www.AuthenticArgentina.com

Rafa is a Gaucho by birthright and now a landowner, rancher and exporter. A Gaucho is defined as a nomadic, colourful horseman and cowhand of the Argentine Pampas (grasslands). Gaucho’s have remained folk heros similar to the cowboy in western North America; and although they both work with cattle, here is where the similarity ends. We learn of the noble Gaucho’s love of the land and tradition that is untainted by economic gain. They care only for love of their animals and quality of the end product, no matter how long that takes.

Rafa and Jill’s mission is to spread the word of their amazing Argentine Beef, Seafood, Olive Oil and Wines which they export to America and internationally.

What’s the benefit to your restaurant? The finest freshest products, with powerful marketing appeal at a significant price advantage based on Argentina’s economic climate and uncertainty.

Why not learn more at www.authenticargentina.com and reach out to Rafa and Jill at [email protected] or [email protected]. Please say hello for us and tell them you saw them on the Restaurant Rockstars Podcast!
