So I was 170 pounds dropped down to about 140 pounds. Wasn't absorbing nutrients. Well, even though I was trying to work out, I was trying to eat a lot. You know, I was eating like six meals a day, you know, the personal trainer diet. And that was when I discovered a book called the maker's diet by Jordan Rubin

 My goal is I'm going to drink this gallon before noon and by drinking continuously like that it's suppressed any sort of hunger and actually felt really energized. Like I felt great, really mentally clear. I performed at my highest level in school. I was top of my class, and I felt great now. I didn't actually get hungry till around, I don't know, two or three o'clock in the afternoon.

And then all of a sudden I got ravenous, nobody eats like two meals and like a five-hour eating window, but I had never heard the term intermittent fasting, but that's exactly what I was doing.

You need a certain amount of insulin, for example, to activate T4 to T3 to activate your thyroid hormone. 

You need it to help produce and have free estrogens, free progesterone, and free testosterone. So if you're on a calorie-restricted diet for a long period of time, and especially on a low carb calorie, restricted diet, you are going to suppress the production of these hormones and you're not going to feel good.

why do I still weigh the same? But that's also because of miscommunication is. Is wrong between your brain and your fat cells and, the body thinks you're starving. So your body's going to hold on to that. So I'm so glad you brought that up and also glad you brought up, you know, adapting to dietary changes because.Highly neglected in our society

So sometimes for some people, especially if you've noticed in the past that you just don't feel as good eating meat, eating, eating more fats, you might just tighten your amount up. Right? So you might focus on a lot of bitter herbs, parsley, cilantro, drinking ginger tea, and doing ginger radishes, right.

 

Things like that. That will all be bitter. We say bitter is good for the liver. Right. So bitter really helps stimulate bile flow. So consuming more of those in your day.

So I get out and I just ground my body for about five or 10 minutes and that's time to, I just move around.

 

I pray kind of just really focus on just being grateful, right. And starting my day, with just the right mindset. And while I'm grounded, you know, Ana oil, pulling some stacking, all these colleagues, principles and stretching and. Yeah. So that's typically how I'll start, you know, and then I'll come in, I'll make some herbal tea and, uh, take some supplements and then I'll sit down and read some of the Bible.
