2) Milwaukee Gunman was a black man
a. The victims are Jesus Valle Jr., 33, of Milwaukee; Gennady Levshetz, 61, of Mequon; Trevor Wetselaar, 33, of Milwaukee; Dana Walk, 57, of Delafield, and 50-year-old Dale Hudson of Waukesha.
b. Milwaukee police identified the suspected shooter as Anthony N. Ferrill, 51, who worked for the brewing giant for 17 years as an electrician. Police Chief Alfonso Morales did not release a motive for the killings, but the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said Ferrill had a long-running feud with another co-worker that erupted just before the shooting.
c. A co-worker told the newspaper that Ferrill believed he was being discriminated against because he was African-American. The source said he frequently watched movies on his phone during the day, leading to disputes between him and another electrician, who was one of Wednesday's victims.

3) Teacher of the year suspended for showing students a picture of her fiancée wins $100,000 settlement
a. The two-time teacher of the year was giving a welcome back to school presentation in August 2017 to her class when she showed a photo of her and her then-fiancee dressed as characters from the movie "Finding Nemo," according to court documents obtained by CNN.
b. A parent complained to the school, saying that Bailey was "promoting the homosexual agenda," according to court documents.
c. Bailey argued she was discriminated against and her constitutional rights were violated. The school district said the teacher refused to follow administration directions "regarding age-appropriate conversations with students" about sexual orientation.
"That's one of the biggest reasons that I did stand up, because I thought if I would have stayed silent or I would have resigned that this would have just happened to someone a. else after me," Bailey said Tuesday at a press conference, according to CNN affiliate KTVT.
1) Michigan High Schooler
a. Given her experience growing up with two mothers, Destiny proposed to write her paper in favor of same-sex marriage, her mother said. But when Destiny approached her teacher and asked whether she could write about that topic, her teacher said it could be considered offensive to some of her classmates.
b. When Destiny asked to poll the class on whether they would be offended or made uncomfortable by the topic, her teacher's demeanor allegedly changed, her mother said.
a. "(Her teacher) told her, 'I don't want to read it, I don't want to hear about it and I'm the one who has to grade it,'" McDermitt-Jackson told CNN. "The teacher totally discriminated against her."
b. The school district did not identify the teacher in its statement, nor did McDermitt-Jackson.
