Oakland Education Association Strike Part 2

This past week, we interviewed Lorraine Mann, an elementary school teacher who was participating in the Oakland teachers strike. We learned a lot more about the strike, how the negotiations were going, and the fight for public education in Oakland. The strike concluded on Sunday evening when the teachers in the union voted to accept an agreement that the union and the school board had negotiated on Friday.
