Our guest Matt Peisert talks to us about his journey from the classroom to guiding on some of Michigan's finest rivers. "Catching steelhead on the Rogue River created my desire to guide. I knew they were awesome and a blast to catch, and I was suddenly infected with a passion. I was skipping class, going before my 8am class, and spending every minute I could on the river. I was so excited about these fish that I HAD TO share this cool new activity with my friends. Now I really didn't know much of anything about what I was trying to do, but I knew enough to catch a few fish and tried to ooze every ounce of knowledge I had gathered from trial and error and talking with more knowledgeable guys on the river."- Matt
