Two prolific filmmakers who's claim to fame were zombie movies came back to the genre that launched them in to stardom decades later. Both of these directors attempted to reinvigorate the genre with movies featuring the human civilization moving on after their zombie apocalypse until they encountered evolved smart zombies! We watched legendary writer and director George Romero's Land of the Dead and the king of the director cut, Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead.
