Are the books in today's New Testament the same as the originals?  After all, the New Testament books were written almost 2,000 years ago.  If you could read the original writing of Paul, the Gospels and other New Testament books, would they read as they do now, or have they been tempered with and hopelessly lost?  The answer is that when compared with the writings of all other ancient writers of note, Plato, Socrates, Pliny, Livy, Tacitus, Aristotle, Sophocles, Homer and others, we have a much higher degree of confidence the New Testament books are accurate.
