Taylor Hager from Braveheart Children's Advocacy Center joined WKEI to talk about receiving the Regional Media Hometown Hope grant for the month of March. Braveheart Children's Advocacy will be featured throughout the month of March on all Regional Media stations inviting you to help them with their mission to help protect children who have suffered abuse. That's what Braveheart is all about, advocacy for children who have suffered abuse. The trained counselors at Braveheart are called in by law enforcement to be a child's voice and advocate throughout whatever legal ordeal their abuse brings them to. As Taylor tells WKEI in this interview, the staff at Braveheart receive special training to be able to help children of abuse navigate the legal process.
