Ed joins his father at the mine, where there is a new machine from Galtoid 3. Ed gets a surprise when he sees who is going to provide their training. Later, Ed and Paul return to the secret canyon where the factory had been seen on their earlier trip. They take no chances and this time are fully kitted up with safety gear. As Paul is investigating the boxes outside the factory, someone comes out, but does he spot Paul and Ed?
