"If you build it, he will come." It's an iconic line from an iconic movie -- Field of Dreams. In Dyersville, Iowa, the Lansing Family Farm was the site of the famous 1989 baseball movie that starred Kevin Costner, Ray Liotta, and James Earl Jones.

Field of Dreams is the adaptation of W. P. Kinsella's novel Shoeless Joe. Ray Kinsella (Costner) is an Iowa farmer who, while walking through his cornfields, hears a voice whispering to him, "If you build it, they will come." He continues hearing this before finally seeing a vision of a baseball diamond in his field.

On this episode of Reel Travels, I welcome Denise Stillman, Chief Preservationist, Field of Dreams Movie Site. In 2011, a couple from Oak Lawn, Ill., Mike and Denise Stillman, emerged to buy the farm for $3.4 million and closed on the deal at the end of 2012.
